Tree Planting
For many of the woods we use, it takes about 60 years from the time a tree is planted to the time it can be harvested. If we want to provide wood products into the future, we need to pay attention and do our part now. That’s why we never clear cut, and we always plant a new tree for every one we harvest. Oftentimes we plant twice as many trees.
Made in the USA
Our roots are in Maine, and we believe in the quality craftsmanship of Maine wood mills. The vast majority of our products are made right here in the woods of Maine. That’s something we’re proud of, and we hope you are as well. (We do carry a small number of products we are unable to make in Maine.)
